Colorized Black and white photo of Albert Einstein

A website and digital archive called “Digital Einstein”  launched Friday afternoon. The digital archive contains letters, papers, postcards, notebooks and diaries that Einstein left scattered in Princeton and in other archives when he died in 1955. The interface and design of the website is eye-pleasing and speedy and the digital archives are easy to navigate. If you have ever been curious about Einsteins work, its definitely worth a look.

This photo of Albert Einstein was completed for a client and I am pleased with how it turned out. Some adjustments to the shadowing and lighting really gave this photo some depth before I got into coloring it.

My full size colorization as well as the black and white original are below.
