Claudia Cardinale Colorized

I was immediately  drawn to this photo of Claudia Cardinale when I first laid eyes on it. I really loved the background, the lighthouse and the old car in this photo and I was especially drawn to the reflection of the woman in the car. Those type of details can be really fun and also quite a challenge, but you have to challenge yourself to make any progression.

The woman in the photo is the Tunisian born Italian actress Claudia Cardinale. She appeared in some of the most prominent European films in the 1960 and 1970s and the majority of Cardinale’s films have been either Italian or French.

I used reverse mask on the trees to allow the blue sky to shine through the trees properly, a good trick that comes in quite handy when doing trees or hair and you don’t want overlapping color layers. The color of the car came from some research and a bit of imagination, but I was unsure if I wanted to use the color of a hard top or a black fabric, I obviously opted for the hard top which was  a personal preference.
