Upcoming Colorization Updates, Exciting News and Some Old Stuff Revisited

MetaColor

You may or may not have noticed a lack of colorized photos these past few weeks and there are several reasons (all of them good) as to why.

The first bit of good news is that Metacolor will be featured by some very popular websites in the coming weeks. I unfortunately cant name names yet, but I assure you it is very exciting news and expect to make an announcement in the coming weeks.

In order to prepare the website for the onslaught of upcoming visitors, it was time for some long overdue maintenance and optimizing. Metacolor now loads faster than ever and is getting about a 2 to 3 second loading time. I have also overhauled the security and stability of the site.

I have also been working on several difficult and time consuming photos which I believe will be my best work yet. By request, I will also be bringing the tutorials section back soon and will be posting new tutorials and tips frequently.

With Metacolor being featured in some high profile websites and television (Yep, television!), I wanted to go back and lightly retouch some of my previous work to my current standards. The photos I have revamped these past few weeks are below.

Expect cool and interesting new photos to begin being published this week, better written articles as well as a more interactive and speedy website.Claudia Cardinale on a Scooter Colorized Colorized black and white photo of a painter climbing up the golden gate bridge in 1947.
